Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients:
115g/ half of the jar of Easy Cheese spread
125ml/ half of Low Fat Dutch Lady milk
2 large eggs
Half of handful of Flat Leaf Parsley
4 pieces of Bacon
5 Button Mushrooms
1 Big Onion (diced)
A handful of Prawns
2 tablespoons of Butter (Unsalted/Salted)
Spaghetti for 3-4 person, about a Half of handful
Mix Herbs (optional)
Seasoning to taste

In a sauce pan, add water, pinch of salt & 2 tablespoons of oil.
When the water's boiling, put in the spaghetti & cook it until it's soft/al-dante.
While waiting for it to cook, get ready all the chopping ingredients that needs to be done.

Kraft's Easy Cheese Spread, can use normal cheese like parmesan/cheddar.
Dutch Lady Low Fat milk, u can choose to use full cream, I just couldn't find any. =P

Mix the eggs, milk & cheese spread in bowl.

Wash it clean, roll it in a bundle.

& Chop finely.

Slice button mushrooms thinly like so.

Cut Bacon into strips or to your liking.

Fry bacon in frying pan with no oil. Bacons are fatty so the excess oil will come right out when frying it.

Fry it till crispy. Leave it on a kitchen paper to soak up all the excess oil.

Now while the frying pan were left with bacon's excess oil, use it to fry the prawns.
About 15-30 secs. Leave it on kitchen paper. Normally excess water will come out of prawns.
So what's left in the frying pan, throw it & wipe it with kitchen paper.

Turn fire to medium. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

Fry the diced onions until transparent.

Add in button mushrooms & stir fry for a bit.

Prawns & Bacon in.

Close up.

The spaghetti should be cook by now. Drain it & toss it in the frying pan.

Seasoned it well.

Stir it again for a few seconds. Turn the heat to very low.

Add in the egg milky cheese mixture.

Like so.

In with the parsley & mix herbs (optional).
I didn't use mix herbs but I bet it'll taste & smells better. ^_^

Stir altogether & turn off the fire. If the heat's too high, the sauce will thicken fast
that'll cause your spaghetti too dry. You want it soggy with melted sauce.
So if that happens, simply add more milk. ^^

Like so.

Close up.

Packed it in a container for husband's lunch.

Okay I regretted not having parmesan. Sprinkle some parmesan will be perfect.
Oh ya & a few dash of tabasco for those chilli freaks.
